Environmental Funding Streams 2014

An updated version of our 2012 publication, the purpose of this document is to bring together a list of available funding streams for research, careers or projects in the environmental sciences. This will act as a resource for members seeking funds. The major sources of funding listed are for UK businesses, charities, academic institutions or individuals seeking financial support for environmental projects of all varieties. The IES membership brings together diverse areas such as sustainability, air quality, land contamination and higher education. This report details funding that is available and relevant across the wider membership.

This report is intended to be a working document and we therefore welcome additional grant or funding information suggestions that will be added to the report as they are received. Please send any additional funding stream suggestions and report on broken links to the IES project office.

Our open access commitment
We are firm supporters of open access as we believe we have a moral responsibility to make environmental science widely available to affect change. If you appreciate the availability of this information and have found it useful, please consider
making a donation.
