A Regulator’s Guide to Cover Systems and their Verification is intended for use by Contaminated Land professionals and pulls together current best practice, guidance and advice into a concise guide to assist in the review of verification reports for environmental cover systems in line with the Land Contamination Risk Management (LCRM) framework.
This guidance was produced by National Contaminated Land Officer Groups (NCLOG) in 2024 and kindly hosted by CL:AIRE. It has also been hosted on the IES website since NCLOG joined the IES family in 2025.
