This webinar explored techniques for in-field monitoring of the effectiveness of Natural Flood Management (NFM) interventions through the development and deployment of open-source, low-cost, DIY sensors, like FreeStation, and the associated tools for integration and analysis across sensors and sites.
Case studies from the UK NFM programme and ReSET project funded by the European Innovation Council were used to highlight the opportunities and challenges of low-cost monitoring in a range of UK settings.
