Spring FWR Newsletter published

We are pleased to publish the second FWR newsletter (pdf) under IES editorialship. This issue features articles on the importance of wetlands, how COP15 might influence freshwater biodiversity, and the impact of chemicals in our rivers.

The articles explore the role of nature-based solutions for water quality improvement, how water professionals and the public can make concerted efforts to enhance water habitats, the overlooked significance of ponds, and how the UK Government might best tackle chemical pollution in the upcoming 2023 Chemicals Strategy.

The next issue is due in July. We welcome proposed article contributions to the newsletter, which can be sent at any time to publications@the-ies.org.
