The IES has signed a letter to Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England, offering to open discussions on how the Bank and financial sector can contribute to dealing with environmental degradation.
The letter sent was composed and signed by the Environmental Policy Forum, a collection of environmental professional bodies concerned with ensuring that policy is underpinned by sound evidence. The letter was signed by the representatives of six professional bodies.
