Defra launches more guidance for consultation

As part of Defra's ongoing reforms to guidance, they will be releasing several content plans on environmental guidance on the website www.guidanceanddata.defra.gov.uk for comment. These plans include:

  • Open Access
  • National Nature Reserves
  • POPs and PCBs
  • REACH
  • Environmental Permitting
  • Landscape

Each of these subject areas will be open for public comment for 6 weeks from the Friday 30th May 2014. The closing date for comments on these plans will be the 11th July 2014.

Defra have asked for your views on these plans, which outline proposed content for revised guidance, and also demonstrate how content will and is shaped on GOV.UK.

The remaining content plans for environmental guidance will be published in June 2014. Further information will be available from Defra closer to the time.
